About the School

The Assumption College of Davao

ACD is a Catholic school owned and managed by the Missionaries of the Assumption (m.a.) promoting education with a social conscience. As an academic institution, it is inspired and guided by the charism of the m.a. and committed to the challenges posed by realities that beset the society.

Mission

We, the ACD Community, are dedicated to the development of an integrated person who is committed to take part effectively in the transformation and true development of society through a nationalistic, scientific and mass-oriented education. We are also committed to the development of holistic spirituality to sustain our solidarity with the poor. We strive to create a school community that is permeated by the gospel spirit of joy, simplicity and love.

The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) is a private, voluntary, non-profit and non-stock corporation which was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines. It is a service organization which accredits academic programs which meet commonly accepted standards of quality education
CEAP
Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) is the national association of Catholic educational institutions in the Philippines. Founded in 1941, it now has 1,500 members, which include universities and colleges offering academic and continuing education programs that are at par with many leading international schools in the world. A majority of its members, however, numbering around 900, are mission schools offering basic education to the country's poor and marginalized.
DACS
Davao Association of Catholic Schools The Davao Association of Catholic Schools, Inc. (DACS) is an association of seventy-one (71) non-stock, non-profit private Catholic schools, colleges and universities under the Dioceses of Davao, Digos, Tagum and Mati or the DADITAMA ecclesiastical sub-region located in the six (6) cities and five (5) provinces of Davao.

Davao Colleges and Universities Network Organized amidst the emergence of a bustling Davao metropolis in 2004, the Davao Colleges and Universities Network, Inc. (DACUN) brought together 12 competing institutions of higher learning with organizational structures and ethos as varied as the students, faculty, staff, and constituents they serve.

Private Education Assistance Committee The Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) is a five (5)-member committee constituted to serve as trustee of the Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE), a permanent and irrevocable trust fund.
